A week after fashion designer Marc Jacobs was seen dining in New Haven at ROLi, another celebrity has been spotted at the same restaurant. Golden Globe nominated actress Jessica Alba, known for roles in “Fantastic Four” and “Dark Angel,” made a stop for dinner at the restaurant. “Well, that’s one superhero we definitely were not expecting to see at our dinner service! We had the pleasure of welcoming the very elegant, very fabulous Jessica Alba to ROLi for dinner recently,” the restaurant posted on its Instagram page on Sunday, referencing her role as Invisible Woman in “Fantastic Four.” “Joining us for a relaxed evening of dinner and drinks, we were absolutely delighted she chose our little corner of New Haven.” Alba’s eldest daughter, Honor Warren, is a freshman at Yale University.
Warren is the daughter of Alba and ex-husband Cash Warren, who is also an alumnus of Yale. ROLi has created waves in the Connecticut dining community since opening in 2025. In its short span of serving the New Haven community, the restaurant has earned the aforementioned James Beard semifinalist nod as well as two nomination for two 2026 Connecticut Restaurant & Hospitality Association’s CRAZIES food awards including “New Haven County Restaurant of the Year” and “Chef of the Year.”
