The 5 Most Anticipated TV Shows of November

As the fall TV season continues, we have more new shows hitting the small screens and the return of many popular ones. They include animated Westerns, a gripping heist, an archaeological conspiracy, and a boxing biopic.

We asked you to vote for your Most Anticipated TV or Streaming Show of November, and there was one very clear winner who dominated the polls — we were just a little surprised who that clear winner was. Read on for the top five!

1. Percy Jackson and the Olympians: Season3

Premiere Date: November 20 on Disney+

With a whopping 56% of the vote, Season 3 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians emerges as the most anticipated TV series of November. Adapted from The Titan’s Curse, the third book in the Percy Jackson series, this season follows Percy (Walker Scobell), along with his friends Annabeth (Leah Sava Jeffries) and Grover (Aryan Simhadri), as they protect Camp Half-Blood from the titan Atlas (Holt McCallany). Levi Chrisopulos and Olive Abercrombie join the cast as Nico and Bianca di Angelo, demigod children of Hades. At a Lucca Comics panel, co-creator Jonathan Steinberg teased that Season 3 will bring “our first real bad guy.”

2. Blade Runner 2099

Premiere Date: November 25 on Prime Video

The Blade Runner franchise has been beloved for more than 40 years, and the universe grows bigger with the release of Blade Runner 2099. The series takes place in 2099 Los Angeles, when an uprising switches the power dynamics in favor of Replicants, humanoid androids with superhuman abilities. Michelle Yeoh stars as Olwen, one of these androids nearing the end of her life, who teams up with Cora (Hunter Schafer), a human fugitive masquerading as a Blade Runner, to track down a group of fellow Replicants gone rogue.

3. The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power: Season 3

Premiere Date: November 11 on Prime Video

In another franchise series, Season 3 of The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power takes the spot of the third-most anticipated series this month. After Season 2 wrapped with the forging of all Rings of Power, Season 3 functions as a soft reboot, set five years later, that focuses on a war between the Elves and the Dark Lord Sauron (Charlie Vickers), along with the forging of Sauron’s One Ring. As one of the most iconic symbols of the Lord of the Rings franchise, fans won’t want to miss seeing the creation of the One Ring (to rule them all, to find them, etc.).

4. Yellowjackets: Season 4

Premiere Date: November 20 on Paramount+

For the fourth and final time, Yellowjackets crashes down on Paramount+. In 1996, after their rescue from the Canadian wilderness, the Yellowjackets return to New Jersey as national heroes and struggle to keep their secrets about what really happened, including, among other things, eating their missing teammates. In the present day, two decades after the plane crash, the survivors continue to reckon with the sins of their actions in the woods, building from a mounting plot against Shauna (Sophie Nélisse in the past, Melanie Lynskey in the present) in the finale of season 3. The Yellowjackets Hive is still buzzing with excitement about the show’s epic conclusion, which comes in at No. 4 this month.

5. 12 12 12

Premiere Date: November 13 on Apple TV

12 12 12 takes its name from the heist at its core premise, focusing on the 12 months it took to plan, the 12 hours it took to execute, and the 12 days following. The heist in question? A raid on an underground bank vault in Zurich. Jamie Dornan plays criminal Paul Galvin as he enters a cat-and-mouse chase across Europe with FBI agent Jack Strickland (Anthony Mackie). If Michael Mann’s Heat with the globetrotting of a Bond film sounds like a good mix to you, make sure to catch this new Apple TV show when it hits the streamer.
