CAT GREENE TELLS EJ DIMERA SHE LOVES HIM WHILE RAFE WAITS FOR HER EVIDENCE

Cat Greene Says the Words EJ DiMera Has Been Waiting For
It is confirmed: Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) tells EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) she loves him. The official fall and winter promo, released by Peacock on Monday, November 2, 2026, catches her declaring it through tears. In the same reel she assures Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) that she has the goods on EJ.
Both can be true, and that is the problem. These Days of Our Lives spoilers carry no air date, and since the show tapes months ahead, either scene could stream any time this winter. What the promo does not tell us is which Cat is acting.
How Cat Greene Got This Close to EJ
She has been working this room for months. As our daily recaps have tracked, Cat has met with Rafe about EJ since August. In October she quit on EJ to see whether he would come around, and he begged her to stay and kissed her. On October 19, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) told her he knows she was ISA and still is.
Then she got EJ the prize he wanted most. Steve handed her a copy of Dominic Marino‘s (Kyle Pryor) birth certificate, and she passed it to EJ. On Monday the two of them shared movie night and a kiss until Sydney DiMera (Sydney Malakeh) found a black feather outside. When EJ suggested the bedroom, Cat left for a Halloween party.
On Tuesday, Steve questioned whether this was a good time to leave Salem and how closely she is working with EJ. Cat insisted she has it under control, then thanked EJ for getting her on her flight to see the original certificate.

Does EJ DiMera Find Out Cat Greene Played Him?
Not in anything confirmed yet. Some previews say EJ catches on and confronts Cat about playing him from the start, and that she answers by swearing she loves him. The promo footage described by the larger outlets shows the love declaration and the Rafe promise, not a discovery. So for now, the exposure is a forecast. Watch the timing, because a woman only cries “I love you” that hard when she is afraid of losing something.
Here is the angle nobody is pushing. Cat has already fooled this whole town once, when she posed as Abigail. EJ knows that history better than anyone. If she says she loves him and he has any doubt at all, her record is the first thing he will throw back at her.
EJ Is Not a Man Who Forgives
Look at his week. His son Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) told Sydney that EJ disowned him, and both siblings now suspect their father after a stack of shipping papers turned up. Our earlier story on how Cat got the certificate to EJ showed how many people she is juggling. One wrong word to the wrong man and the whole act comes down.
Rafe saw this coming. Back on September 29, when Cat updated him on her risky plan, he warned her that EJ is vindictive. Now she is promising Rafe evidence on a man she may genuinely love. Neither of them is ready for what happens if EJ figures it out.
Fan bloggers have been chewing on Cat’s motives since the promo dropped. My gut says Cat Greene fell for him somewhere between the quitting and the kissing, and that is exactly what makes the evidence for Rafe so dangerous. Could she be telling both men the truth? If I know these writers, EJ hears the confession at the worst possible moment.
